Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets forth the acceptable use of services provided by Thomas Neumann ("we," "us," "our") to our customers ("you," "your"). By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use our services to engage in, foster, or promote illegal, harmful, or abusive activities, including but not limited to:

  • Illegal Activities: Engaging in any activities that violate any local, state, national, or international law, regulation, ordinance, or treaty. This includes, but is not limited to, copyright infringement, fraud, money laundering, and the distribution of illegal content.
  • Fraudulent Activities: Creating fake identities, false contact information, or attempting to deceive or mislead others.
  • Cryptocurrency Mining: The use of our services for any cryptocurrency mining activities, including but not limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any other form of mining.
  • Use of Fake Source IPs: Using our services with fake or spoofed IP addresses or impersonating other systems, networks, or devices to conceal the origin of your traffic or activity.
  • Network Scanning and Probing: Performing unauthorized network scanning, probing, or penetration testing of networks, IP addresses, or systems that you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
  • Denial of Service (DoS) Attacks: Participating in or facilitating any activity designed to disrupt or overload the services or network infrastructure, including DoS or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.

2. Security Violations

You must not attempt to violate the security of any systems or networks, including but not limited to:

  • Gaining unauthorized access to any data, systems, or networks.
  • Attempting to interfere with or disrupt service to any user, host, or network (e.g., ping floods, mail bombing, or crashing).
  • Forging any TCP/IP packet header, any part of the header information in any email, or any newsgroup posting.

3. Resource Usage

  • Fair Use: You may not use our services in a manner that disrupts or degrades the performance of our network or infrastructure for other users, or that results in excessive resource usage (e.g., CPU, memory, bandwidth).
  • Automation and Scripts: Excessive automation, scripting, or bot traffic that places an undue burden on our network is prohibited.

4. Abuse Reporting

If you suspect any violation of this AUP, you are encouraged to report it to us by contacting [email protected].

5. Consequences of Violations

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violations of this AUP. Violations may result in actions such as:

  • Suspension or termination of your account.
  • Legal action, including seeking damages or cooperation with law enforcement authorities.
  • Immediate removal of any materials or content that violates this policy.

6. Revisions to the AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through your account portal. It is your responsibility to review any updates to the AUP. Continued use of our services after any modifications to this AUP will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.
